How do you talk about terrorism?

In recent months, terrorist attacks have hit us close to home. Each time, they call into question the way we approach terrorism and its treatment by the media: should we talk about it at the risk of playing into the hands of the terrorists? Should we censor ourselves in the media and on social networks? Is there a right way to talk about terrorism?
