Guillaume Farel, from theologian to organizer

If collective memory retains the image of Farel as a man of the field, impetuous and uncompromising, he was also a theologian. Far from having left a theological sum comparable to Calvin, Farel nevertheless wrote very early on, always in French, some of his texts being the earliest of the French-speaking Reformation.
