Good news for asbestos sufferers

The combination of two molecules doubles the chances of survival for victims of mesothelioma, the cancer caused by lʹ asbestos. This disease affects two hundred people in Switzerland every year. Thirty years after the ban on asbestos, the Swiss National Accident Insurance Fund (Suva) fears that nearly 4,000 people will die from the disease over the next twenty years.
