Public health messages keep harping on it: to be in shape, you have to eat healthy. Except that today, healthy eating means eating without: no fat, no sugar, no salt, no meat, no gluten, sometimes even no food. Eating habits that are often useless, costly and sometimes dangerous. At best, we get by with a few deficiencies, at worst, the most fragile can die. Should we be wary of fads rather than products?
