Faire image, the illustrated press in French-speaking Switzerland

The economic upheavals recently experienced by the print media in French-speaking Switzerland should not blind us to its diversity in the last century. Several magazines popularized large-circulation reporting and coverage of events long before the iconic dominance of television.
