Exotic insects: a ticking time bomb

A study conducted by the University of Lausanne and published in the journal PNAS reveals that plant propagation precedes and favors the establishment of insects outside their region of origin. These follow their preferred larder, exotic plants, into new territories where they are imported, but with a slight delay.
