Cultured lung tumors for personalized treatment

A team from the University Hospitals of Geneva and the lʹUniversity of Geneva have developed a new method for personalizing lung cancer treatment. Using fragments of cancerous lung tissue, the scientists produce a culture of hundreds of small tumors identical to the patient's own, called spheroids or organoids.
