Break through the clouds for better communication

Researchers at the University of Geneva are drilling holes in clouds in the laboratory. Ultimately, this unprecedented technology could enable information to be transmitted via laser from satellites. A breakthrough that would make it possible to transmit 10,000 times more data, and more securely than radio waves.
