20 years of exoplanets

On October 6, 1995, two Genevan astrophysicists, Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz, discovered the first exoplanet 51 Peg b. Twenty years later, more than 2,000 exoplanets have been identified. This frantic search also conceals the hope of detecting extraterrestrial life.
