1944 - A year in Switzerland: Facing the Allies

We haven't heard much about the history of the Second World War in Switzerland over the last twenty years or so. Perhaps this is a sign of weariness after the intense media coverage of the Bergier Commission's work on Switzerland's attitude during the Second World War in the 1990s, which certified that Nazi gold and Jewish property had been well received in Switzerland.
