1 CHF = 1 €: consequences for the consumer?

It's all we've been talking about since late morning on January 15, 2015: the Swiss National Bank is no longer supporting the franc against the euro, and today a franc is worth one euro... whereas yesterday it was still 1 franc 20! So how can this be? And above all, what can you do as a consumer?
