For whom does the wind blow?

With 37 installed wind turbines and 0.2% production, Switzerland lags significantly behind its European neighbors in wind power. The confederation intends to make up for this delay by deploying almost 800 machines across the country to increase production to 7% by 2050. But is this relevant given Switzerland's wind regime, topography and high population density?
