Who is Louise Glück, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature?

The Swedish Academy awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature on Thursday to 77-year-old American poet Louise Glück, professor of English at Yale University. A surprise award crowning her work begun in the late 1960s.
