When jazz sets the pace (1/5)
Légende
The origins of jazz can be traced back to the late 19th century in the black community of the United States. Jazz was born from several intertwined forms, such as work songs, slave songs, blues, negro spirituals and ragtime. The contemporary history of the United States would not be what it is without jazz, a musical current that has contributed so much to the integration of the black American community thanks to its artistic and socio-political recognition.
