What if plants weren't all good?

Thanks to a plethora of studies and best-selling books, we now know that plants communicate with each other, that they support each other, that they defend themselves from their aggressors, that they are emotional, intelligent... But, if plants are so "intelligent" and cunning as we say, shouldnʹt we learn to distrust them, we who are their main aggressors?
