What if lies were the bearers of truth?

Truth isn't everything, post-truth tells us. But what if this isn't completely untrue? Why has truth imposed itself above other values when it seems so difficult to access? And what if lies sometimes speak louder than truth, at a time when transparency is the order of the day?
