Switzerland changes its HPV vaccination recommendations

Since the beginning of the year 2024 in Switzerland, basic vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV), which can cause lʹuterine cancer in particular, is also recommended for boys aged between 11 and 14. At issue: significantly lower vaccination coverage among young men and an increase in HPV-related infections.
