Record number of authorizations in 2023 to use normally banned pesticides

Never before has Switzerland allowed so many pesticides to be used. In 2023, in order to cope with the increase in pests and diseases, as well as to limit imports, almost 30 previously banned substances have been exceptionally authorized by the Confederation.
