Between September 9 and 13, 1971, the prisoners of Attica, New York, revolted against the racism of the prison system. All the contradictions of American society through its judicial system resonate in this one name, Attica, and with it the demand for fundamental reform of respect for rights and living conditions in prison. These demands are being heard all over Europe, including in Switzerland.
