Covid and patient rights in EMS

Are the rights of nursing home residents being sacrificed on the altar of the Covid-19 health crisis emergency? A ban on visits for several weeks, a requirement to stay in the room - these measures seem to have changed with the second wave. At what point are the fundamental rights of EMS residents called into question in the name of public health?
