The number of rescues in the Mediterranean continues unabated

Europe and Africa meet to discuss ways of curbing the migration crisis upstream. Refugees continue to arrive in Europe via the Balkan route. We talk about it so much that it has ended up overshadowing the situation in the Mediterranean. And yet, overcrowded boats continue to leave the Libyan coast, setting course for Italy.
