A new tool for tracking tumors

Probes developed at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) enable a surgeon to detect, during the removal of a tumor, whether he has indeed removed all the diseased cells.
