A new eco-friendly cement to combat CO2 emissions

Cement production is responsible for almost 10% of CO2 emissions worldwide. Researchers at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) have developed a new type of cement that could reduce these emissions by 30%.
