Moderna vaccine: a third dose and uncertainties

The Swiss government has announced that a further 7 million doses of vaccine have been ordered from Moderna for early next year. Behind this order is the idea of a third injection, which could simply act as a booster vaccine or else enable certain new mutations in the virus to be dealt with.
