Update on new vaccines approved in Switzerland

The vaccine race is in full swing in Switzerland. Following in the footsteps of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca, the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) has announced that it has signed contracts for two new vaccines: Curevac and Novavax. These two vaccines, together with the AstraZeneca vaccine, should enable the Confederation to complete its arsenal against Covid-19. Swissmedic must first give its authorization, however.
