Is medicine a science?

Is medicine a science or a pseudo-science? Like biology, psychology or economics, this discipline is undergoing a profound reappraisal. At issue: replicability, i.e. the ability to reproduce the results of a study. Yet it is not uncommon in medicine to fail to achieve this replication.
