Listening to plant sounds

Growing plants in our mountains is now possible. Since the 1990s, climatologists and biologists have been using a network of 130 stations spread across the Swiss Alps to measure snow depth, among other things. Somewhat by chance, they discovered that plants make noise when they grow.
