Let's digitize our herbaria! From dried plants to Big Data

The Musée et Jardins botaniques cantonaux de Lausanne have launched a vast operation to digitize their 120,000 plant plates collected throughout the canton of Vaud. Their aim is to preserve the collection and make it more accessible, in the age of Big Data and new technologies.
