Lʹinventaire forestier sous algorithme

A student at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) has devised an algorithm to improve forest mapping using aerial detection. The idea is not to replace field inventories, which take place every ten years or so in Switzerland, but to complement them with the aim of preserving this precious resource.
