The links between the socio-cultural environment and the dream function

In a study carried out in collaboration with the Universities of Geneva and Toronto, neuroscientists have compared the dream content of two peoples from Africa with a lifestyle close to that of our hunter-gatherer ancestors, and the dreams of a clinical population in Europe and Canada. The results of this study prove that the emotional function of dreams is not the same everywhere.
