Focus on meningitis in Africa

Nature abhors a vacuum. Unfortunately, this is also true of meningitis in Africa. While Meningitis A has almost disappeared from the continent thanks to a vaccine, the C strain has progressed in a quite unique way. It's as if the extinction of Meningitis A has left the field wide open for it.
