Floating saucers measure CO2 in 30 Geneva ponds

In the Geneva countryside, eight floating installations have been set up on a pond as part of the international Ponderful study. Their aim is to find out whether ponds absorb more CO2 than they release, in which case they could be considered carbon sinks.
