Faced with shortages, hospitals manufacture their own medicines

The number of unavailable drugs has doubled in five years. Pharmaceutical companies are reporting numerous supply disruptions. Of these, 77 concern preparations classified as vital by the Confederation. University hospitals are being forced to manufacture more and more of these themselves.
