Ethnology of birthing centers

In 2015, few women give birth to their babies outside hospitals. But mentalities are changing and the relationship to medical risk is evolving. More and more women are choosing to give birth in a birth center or at home, even if this decision is often perceived as unnecessary risk-taking.
