Economic and financial crisis deepens in Lebanon

The pandemic has further aggravated the economic crisis that Lebanon has been experiencing since summer 2019. This crisis was, moreover, a driving force behind the protests last autumn, which denounced the bankruptcy of the political class, incapable of finding solutions.
