Do we really want to see where pigs come from before they reach our plates?

A video showing a pigsty plunged into darkness with animals wading in their excrement and cohabiting with a pig corpse has caused a stir in French-speaking Switzerland. The pig farm has been sanctioned, but is it really any different elsewhere?
