CureVac's Covid vaccine fails to meet the required efficacy threshold

According to Alessandro Diana, vaccinologist for the infovac.ch platform, this poor result will weigh primarily on the countries of the South: "The real burden of this shortfall is at global level. We should perhaps remember that in countries with high economic incomes, one in three or four people is vaccinated, whereas in countries with low economic incomes, unfortunately only one in 500 people is vaccinated."
