The race against time to find a vaccine and treatment for Covid-19 is sending the global pharmaceutical industry into a frenzy, and Switzerland with it. Four German-speaking laboratories are officially in the race to develop a vaccine, and the Swiss pharmaceutical industry is involved in some 60 of the 80 or so vaccine projects listed by the WHO.
