Controversial practices lead to arrest of Ukrainian hacker in Geneva

Covert surveillance measures enabled the Geneva police to apprehend, last October, a Ukrainian cybercriminal actively sought by the FBI, RTS's Pôle Investigation has learned. Problem: the operation, which was contested internally, did not receive the approval of an independent judge.
