Audit finds UNRWA "indispensable" and welcomes measures to ensure neutrality

The independent committee charged with assessing the operation of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), 12 of whose employees are accused by Israel of involvement in the Hamas attacks of October 7, believes that the body is broadly in line with the principles of neutrality dictated by humanitarian law. However, problems in this area still need to be resolved.
