Israel - Palestine, "The international community has a responsibility"

Riccardo Bocco, Professor Emeritus at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva (IHEID), said, "Beyond the failure of peace attempts on both the Israeli and Palestinian sides, the international community bears a major responsibility for having failed to accompany this process in accordance with the principles of international law. Worse still, it has chosen to manage the conflict instead of seeking solutions, which has progressively strengthened the positions of extremists on both sides."
