Autism in women: the invisible difference

We know that autism is a "spectrum", a continuum between very marked and sometimes imperceptible differences. Some autistic people have intellectual disabilities, and others very high IQs. The latter often escape the radar, especially when they are women. An invisible difference, until the mask becomes too heavy to wear.
