Au temps de la Préhistoire - The Lacustres, from myth to heritage recognition

Just ten years ago, the Alpine arc's palaeolithic sites or lakeside villages were finally recognized worldwide, thanks to their inclusion on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Recognition of these major archaeological discoveries has helped to relieve Switzerland of a certain weight associated with the construction of a national myth.
