Astrocytes, the baby-sitters of our neurons

Astrocytes are fundamental to the development of neurons and synapses. Dysfunction of these glial cells could be at the root of certain psychiatric illnesses. This is the finding of a study published by the Universities of Lausanne and Zurich.
