Antoine Poidebard, an ace methodist
Légende
Antoine Poidebard was a Jesuit priest who pioneered aerial photography in the Levant in the 20s and 30s. An explorer, inventor, lecturer, missionary and sometimes even "hothead", Father Poidebard was an international star during his lifetime, whose discoveries inspired many of his contemporaries and even some of the vignettes in the Tintin album, The Treasure of Rackham the Red. His photographs, whose beauty transcends scientific issues, tell the story of a method that would go on to flourish.
