All connected?

The obvious, inescapable. Will we soon all be connected, with a chip implanted in our ear or our brain? Anything is possible, technology makes it possible. But is everything desirable? Will digital technology, which determines creation, the economy and culture, change our human nature? To be "connected" or not to be?
