In Switzerland, we've been selling off our mineral springs for decades. Recently, Chinese investors almost got their hands on one of the most prestigious springs in the Valais. People still think that water shortages only affect mountain pastures. But during the historic drought of summer 2022, certain communes, faced with unprecedented shortages, became aware of their vulnerability. To keep our taps from running dry, communes are often struggling alone.
