Acting: the price of a dream

In theater or film, acting is still a dream job. The schools are full, but then what? The reality on the ground is cruel: even those who work, even those who are successful, have to prove themselves anew with each new project, go through auditions and castings again, wait and hope once more to arouse a directorʹ s desire. How do you make your mark? How do you last in a ruthless system? What sacrifices can be made in the name of acting?
