In 2020, mortality reached levels not seen for 100 years

An exceptional number of deaths were recorded in Switzerland in 2020. Closely linked to Covid-19, this excess mortality particularly affected senior citizens and certain cantons, including Geneva and Fribourg. Figures that also call into question the official assessment of the pandemic.
