For 13 years, Vaud's tax authorities have been under-taxing wealthy taxpayers

A legal opinion drawn up by lawyers in the canton of Vaud and another written by a professor of tax law claim that the cantonal tax administration failed to apply the tax shield correctly between 2009 and 2022. The potential loss could run into millions. Members of parliament are calling for a parliamentary commission of inquiry.
